We visited Pad Thai in Asheville and enjoyed a rare treat; background music set at "gentle background," instead of "pain," "stun," or"kill."  We could converse during our dinner.  No one in the restaurant needed to shout.

What's-her-name and I each ordered the mixed vegetables;  we should have ordered one and shared it. But we both ate it all anyway and promised to be more discreet next time. Delicious.

Seasoning is by request in various steps ranging from "mild" to Thai hot. We both chose "medium" and found it ideal.

    A pleasant little restaurant.

    Nice and homey Pad Thai.

We are always happy to visit Pad Thai in what we consider Candler, but many consider an extension of Asheville.  It is a quaint little restaurant that feels like a home.  The staff are friendly and the food always fresh.  My family and I have tried much of the menu, and it always delivers full bodied taste at a price you can afford.

    Yes they deliver!

First time at this restaurant, starting off the spring roll with shrimp was missing the shrimp in one of the rolls. We ordered steamed dumplings and we got fried dumplings, which were really delicious.
They forgot our drinks until we asked, after the appetizers.
My ty salad for dinner came 8 minutes before the  of the tables food.  Having said that it was my husbands first time with pho an it was delicious and so were the other dishes.
Nice people  ok service go for take out instead if you can .

I love Thai food and traveled in Thailand a lot of times. This is the closest to the authentic one that I can say is worth another visit. I love their Tom Kha and pad Thai. They also have Thai Tea with tapioca pearls (Boba).

I am SO glad this place is close to my house. And I can finally say there is a good Vietnamese Pho place in town. Yes, this is a THAI restaurant and not a Vietnamese restaurant.  And yes, I know, I know, there's Wild Ginger Vietnamese restaurant in Arden.  Well, take it from a Vietnamese American who lived in Orange County, CA (Little Saigon) that the Pad Thai's pho is better.  I've had both the chicken and beef pho.  When they first added it to the menu, it was OK.  But lately, man their pho has been delicious.  I've had it in the restaurant and takeout.

If it's cold or you're feeling under the weather the Chicken Pho is what you need.  Nice clean flavors, fresh broth, perfectly cooked chewy rice noodles, white meat chicken... add a few bean sprouts, some mint, a splash of lime and a touch of sriracha and fill your belly with Pho.
